Great docking station for my needs.

I have a 14" Windows 11 laptop that I use as a desktop replacement. This laptop only has one USB-A, 2 USB-Cs and an HDMI connection. I have tried many USB hubs that use my USB-A connection on the PC and only supply USB-A input ports on the hub with no PC charging capability. There have been problems with power supplies for these units and conflicts among USB-A devices that I have connected to the hub. It took me a while to figure out that docking stations, like this Belkin, can use my USB-C charging port on my PC. Only using my USB-C port for charging is really a waste, therefore, I decided to try this Belkin unit. It is great. The included power supply supplies power to charge the PC as well as devices connected to the docking station. All my conflicts have disappeared. As info, I have a webcam and keyboard/mouse devices connected to my USB-A ports on the Belkin. I also use the ethernet port which does support 1GB speeds. In addition, I use the Belkin power supply and the USB-C charging connection back to my PC. I have not used any of the other ports yet. The Belkin does run a little warm. I am very satisfied with this docking station.

This is A Great Thunderbolt 3 Dock

The problems most users posted can be solved by by one simple step! Belkin should have provided users instruction to access the Thunderbolt Control Center to Connect the Device (Dock) to the laptop. Once connected, click the Connected status to select Always Connect. Now you are all set to put the dock to good use.
