much better than nutri bullet! !

I bought this because my nutri bullet burned out, poor design however the ninja has a better designed power base and better blade design.....needing only one blade to do the work. ...has pulse action which should be better since blade action isn't running continuously and hopefully not burning out the power base ......so far so good....only been 2 weeks.....i bought this to make green smoothies ....liquifies the greens, frozen fruits as well as fresh.....I'm happy because I lost 3 lbs in 3 days.....just hope the ninja holds up !!!! Wish they had a larger container so I don't have to split my ingredients in half....

Didn't come with the Large Book

It's a great machine. Noisy of course, but when you consider what it's chopping, it's great. You also have to stand there and hold it down. There's no "on" button. I was a bit disappointed they did not include the 8 1/2 X11 book of recipes and ideas. That was a Boomer.

Love this Ninja!

My husband and I have a Magic Bullet, which did a good job of mixing soft items. However, it was mediocre when crushing ice. The Ninja crushes ice easily when making smoothies. There are no ice pieces left. I actually thought about buying a more expensive blender, but the Ninja does a great job at a more reasonable price.
