Chapin’s 82088B 80-pound poly salt and ice melt spreader is commercial-grade and perfect for plow and snow removal companies or a residential driveway. The 80-pound poly hopper is rust and weather resistant. With a rugged powder-coated steel frame, solid steel linkage, T-shaped handle with rubber hand grips, full gate control and aggressive toothed auger, he 82088B is the full package. It also comes with a rain/snow cover to protect the product during snowy or rainy weather. Adjust the front and side baffles so you’re not spreading product where it’s not needed. Tough 12-inch pneumatic tires handle uneven winter ground. This unit is not recommended for use with salt products, sand or sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime or lime powders. Made with global materials and backed by Chapin’s 5-year limited warranty.

It's a bit pricy for what you get
I'm pretty handy and rarely need instructions when assembling something but this one has me reaching for the instructions pretty quick. That said, I have to say that whomever wrote these instructions needs to go back and try to follow them step by step and see where it gets them! Talk about confusing! It also didn't help that there were a LOT of extra parts included that weren't even for this spreader that only added to the confusion! I guess its better having parts that aren't needed and not for the product than not getting the ones that are needed. Once assembled though, this looks like a decent product that SHOULD last years with basic maintenance/cleaning
