Purchased this square pizza baking steel to make homemade pizza. Perfect size for almost any oven. After researching products on other websites, this steel was signifcantly cheaper and of equal quality.

Outstanding item. Not only do I recommend this to a friend I bought one for my Son that worked in a Pizza Restaurant for years. We both love it. It is also excellent for homemade bread. So when making the pizza dough I double the amount, then after it rises. I split off half, roll / shape into a a log. When doubled in size slash the top and in it goes into the oven at 400F for 20 minutes. Out comes a great loaf of Italian bread. This stone cooks restaurant quality pizza with perfect brown spotted bottoms and puffed crust tops. The first pizza I tried was lightly topped and cooked in 3 minutes. The next was a bit larger at 12 inches and lightly topped with 3 tablespoons sauce, 6 ounces cheese and two rounds of pepperoni for each slice and it cooked in 4 minutes. The third try was overloaded with too much topping, It cooked in 5 minutes with a kind of moist center. Still tasty but did not duplicate restaurant style. Since the pizzas cook so fast it is easy to do several pizzas in a few minutes. The family loves the pizzas and are thrilled that each person can have their own personal 9 inch pizza. It cleans up with a wipe of a damp cloth and; Oh! the price is great too.
