The W240 Sottozero Serie II is Pirelli’s winter performance tire that provides excellent driving experience in all of winter and all weather conditions. This tire is made to dynamically react in the presence of wet asphalt and low outside temperatures (under 7°C). This makes the tire more resistant to aquaplaning. This is a versatile tire that promotes safety in all driving conditions of fall and winter. This can handle snowy, wet or even dry driving conditions.

This is designed with wide grooves for effective dispersal of water. Also, this features a special water containment basin (HST – Hydro Static Tank) a Pirelli patent that provides excellent containment of water in the grooves for outstanding resistance to aquaplaning.

The Pirelli W240 Sottozero Serie II tire has the mountain/snowflake symbol for severe snow service.
