This pair of Pioneer G-Series 6 in. x 8 in. 250-Watt 2-Way Coaxial Speakers is an excellent, entry-level choice to replace a bad set of factory 6 in. x 8 in. speakers. Their two-way design handles 250 watts max. (40 watts nominal) and feature Pioneer's extremely strong and lightweight Injected Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) with MICA composite cone woofers for improved sensitivity and reduced distortion. These speakers also have Progressive Flex Suspension System Spider to increase vocal and bass performance.

Great upgrade!
These were a great improvement for a nominal price. Installed in a 2010 Ford Escape. No modifications necessary, as the holes in the doors line right up. Replacement of all 4 speakers took less than an hour. Miles better than stock. Now I'm adding an aftermarket head unit and a subwoofer because the highs/mids sound great, but there is room for better bass, as expected. I'm happy with these.

Popped out the old speakers and these were a direct fit. I tested them on my table but man do they sound great on my car door. The bass is great, running of the radio, no need for an amp.
