I saw many bad reviews on this, and I decided I needed to try it for myself. When compared to similar meals, this product its good for the price. It is what it is and it's better than some dinners. The meat is seasoned correctly and is firmer than a different brand. The REAL bacon and green beans are excellent. The potatoes and gravy have a smokey mountain flavor I would expect. The breading does suffer from being microwaved, but this is over all a good dish.

Dolly's country fried steak is by far the best frozen country fried steak dinner that taste fresh. the only thing i would change is to put the mashed potatoes and gravy into separate compartments than with the meat that way a person can choose if they want to put some of the gravy on top of the country fried steak or onto the mashed potatoes.

I was surprised how much I liked it. The breading on the meat was properly seasoned, the potatoes tasted like real potatoes, and the gravy tasted like it was made in the same pan as the meat.I don't care for the kind of green beans, but the bacon made it better. Overall it was really good. As soon as I finished it, I ordered 2 more.
