As a furniture and cabinet builder I do a lot of sanding with random orbitals. When I saw the sandnets at my local lumber yard, I thought I'd give them a try. I got back to the shop anxious to see what these things could do. When I first began, these were awesome, but the salad days went away quickly. These things fill up with dust, they don't adhere when they are full of dust, and they lose cutting ability very quickly. Also be ready for them to fly off the pad. If you're like me and you get in a zone, sometimes you didn't even realize the net is gone and then you are destroying your backing. I still use the regular Diablo discs and I really like them, I get them at a good price, they last a long time and are, in my estimation, one of the best discs out there, but for my needs the sand nets don't get it done.

Bought the sanding nets to smooth out my “cut in” with the belt sander when refinishing my white oak floors.. they work well for 10 seconds before all of the abrasive wears off of the net... stick with the paper diablo makes and avoid frustration..
