Our batteries lasted about 4 years.

The batteries are of good quality. They will last a lot longer if they are occasionally discharged and then recharged to exercise the battery. This will also check the UPS system charging and invertor systems within the unit. The built-in selftest from the control panel really does work, in that it will tell you that the battery pack does need changing.

The replacement battery was a breeze to install. These units are so solid, & having a solid battery powering them up is essential. Tripp Lite delivered.
