Overall a great fan.
This is a great fan in my opinion, but the thing that I do not like about this fan is that the speed control is operated by a twist on the stand but personally I got used to it. That's why I left 4 stars.

Most awful fan to operate ever!
I usually don't leave reviews, but I have to save people from buying this fan. We have always appreciated their quality, but the design of this thing is the stupidest thing ever. The on/off/speed control is operated by a twist control circling the circumference of the stand, and is awkward and hurts your hand/wrist like you can't believe. The weight of most of the thing is above the control that you twist, so its hard to turn, you usually have to hold the thing with your other hand in order to do it. I've resorted to pulling the plug from the outlet as it is less painful. We just bought another fan, this time with the normal push buttons. I cant believe this design was ever approved by Lasko, it is so idiotic. I promise you will regret purchasing this ridiculous thing.
