A cheap way to protect equipment
This UPS has already proved its worth. I live in the country where the power is unreliable. This UPS protects the big-screen TV and the DVR. When the lights go out, this keeps both units running so that I am able to shut them down correctly rather than have them crash.

Does what I need it too. There are many other more expensive systems out there but this one allowed for my systems to continue to operate when switching between generators at work(usually no less than 10min of downtime). Also "helps" to filter out some of the power/voltage fluctuations, would advise a separate power conditioner if using very sensitive equipment but for the $$ this does great.
