Pines Wheat Grass Powder 10 oz Powder

I can only recommend this Wheat Grass Powder - why? In more than 100 years of scientific research, no significant nutritional difference has ever been found between one cereal grass and another when harvested at the jointing stage. The key difference between our cereal grasses and those from other growers is that we harvest at the jointing stage, which has been shown in every scientific study to be the point of maximum nutrition. As far as Pines know, Pines are the only grower to harvest at the corrects stage of growth for maximum nutrient density. There may be differences in flavor in waiting a week or more after jointing to harvest, but the real reason other growers wait is the yield per acre is two or three times greater by waiting. Certainly, by waiting, the nutritional level drops to a fraction of what if should be but the profits are much greater when a grower can increase the yield per acre.

I'm happy I found this wheat grass supplement. It's really great. I opted for this b/c I just found out that I have Hashimoto's disease. My hubby and I were taking Garden of Life's Perfect Food green powder for many years since 2004, but it doesn't mention the amount of iodine that's in it. I'll order this again.
