Pineapple Spears, 2 lbs

These were educational, if not edible. I learned that if the pineapple is paler than what you usually see, it's not ripe. I learned that unripe pineapple is not what you would call "palatable". Furthermore, I now understand what pineapple does to the human digestive system if eaten before it is ready for consumption. Hard lesson, that one. All these lessons and yet I'm still not gonna cut my own pineapple regardless of the price difference in precut and whole because I'm an American and I eat like a bear going into hibernation.
