For years I cobbled together crescent rolls to make dinners and desserts. Great for both sweet and savory dishes.
This is the perfect size for a 9x13 inch pan. It is just right to roll over filling to make a pot pie. Many recipes for pot pie call for biscuit dough but the dough never seems fully baked on the underside. This crescent dough is the exact thickness so that the top is crispy and the underside is not raw tasting. It can be used instead of puff pastry or pie crust in many recipes.
