Great for both sweet and savory dishes.
This is the perfect size for a 9x13 inch pan. It is just right to roll over filling to make a pot pie. Many recipes for pot pie call for biscuit dough but the dough never seems fully baked on the underside. This crescent dough is the exact thickness so that the top is crispy and the underside is not raw tasting. It can be used instead of puff pastry or pie crust in many recipes.

For years I cobbled together crescent rolls to make dinners and desserts. It was a tedious and frustrating process, because there was always at least one section that refused to fuse together properly to create a crust! I was recommended the sheets over the pre-scored crescent rolls for my desserts. This was far superior to teying to fight the pre-cut crescent roll dough. My soapapilla cheesecake was way more fabulous with the sheet dough.
