Leaks and difficult to adjust

I needed a single handle only faucet. Purchased this Delta - first time I've ever had a Delta faucet. It leaks around the moving parts of the faucet. It is difficult to adjust the water mixture - hot and cold - it's either too hot or too cold. Looking for a replacement now.
