Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens, Medium Point, Assorted, 10 Count

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, when I used these pens, I was not happy with the flow of ink. It would constantly skip. So I tried it using the pens on a stack of papers instead of just one sheet, and the flow of the ink was perfect. These are great pens but picky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used gel pens when I was a young girl—most of my journals and notepads were full of colorful and glittery doodles from gel pens, and I was obsessed. Sure, the pens were scratchy, skipped, and smeared everywhere (including the side of my own hand while I was writing), but I didn't expect anything better—I thought they were so creative and fun that I didn't mind. Fast forward many years later, I haven't used gel pens in 20 years (at least) for all of the reasons mentioned, not to mention having needed to switch to something more “grown up” when I went to university. Then Influenster sent me these for free to review! And I could not be happier or more astonished by them! They are smooth, dry quickly, don't skip, and come in fun colors. There is a window to see the ink level along the side. There is a wide, non-slippery barrel to hold onto. It's almost like they made nostalgic gel pens…for grownups!!! I want all of the colors. I love them so much!
