Shark 13" Rechargeable Quiet Performance 2 Speed Carpet Sweeper

I got this sweeper to do light vacuuming around the house for carpet and wood floors. It's just what I needed. I had an earlier version of this sweeper and after several years of wear, it stopped holding a charge so it was time for a replacement. I wanted a similar sweeper since the previous one served me well. So far, I've been very pleased with this updated version.

This is my 3rd Shark Sweeper. I had a V2950 model originally but the charger stopped working after 6 mos. However, Shark sent me a whole new sweeper but a different model to replace the other one, which I had to send back. I did not like the dust cup arrangement of the replacement sweeper (model V2945) as much as the original one I had purchased,( V2950. )That being said, when Model 2945 developed problem, 3 yrs. later, I purchased a Model 2950 from Walmart online. I like these sweepers and would buy another. I have read reviews that say they don't pick up like they should, BUT You have to keep the dust cups empty after you use them. They are not meant to replace a vacuum cleaner. I also clean mine after no more that 2 uses. I have a dog & cat so there is plenty of fur to pick up and they do a great job. PS, My husband fixed the 2945 when the handle broke so I am using both now. I recommend the 2950 because I prefer the dust cup arrangement better, You don't have to manually empty the cup, you push a lever and it empties into the trash, then I use my dust buster to clean the cup and wipe it out with a damp paper towel.
