- The effect occurs relatively quickly and depends only on the amount of natural light it receives. Photochromic pigment is resistant to chemical substances (it does not lose its shine). The mixing rate is 3-5% (eg at 3.5 oz (100 grams) the paint should use 0.1-0.17 oz (3-5 grams) of pigment).
- Sensitive photochromic pigment does not react to heat, it changes color depending on the intensity of light received. Photochromic pigment is not toxic, radioactive is harmless to the environment and humans.
- The photochromic pigment is packaed at 0.35 oz (10 grams) and is available in the following colors yellow and blue. This pigment can be mixed with paints or solvents to create solar sensitive photochromic paints, textile paints.
