I realized my doorbell didn't work

I live in the 3rd floor and neighbors keep the bottom door locked so no one can get to my door to knock on it. I've been here a year and my landlords super cheap so instead of telling him my doorbell doesn't work I bought this after ATT shipment work signature required came and left yesterday while I was sitting here waiting for it!! So there's no excuse today they NEED to be able to deliver my phone or people be returned to sender so in a pinch this will do it's job.
