Growing up in America there are certain things you buy from certain companies even if they cost more than an off brand or a generic brand. Philadelphia Cream Cheese is one of those products. It's high quality and even if does cost a little more it's not much more and it's worth it. You get what you pay for. It's consistent it tastes the same way it did as when I was a kid back in the 60s. It always works in every recipe. I wouldn't make a cheesecake with anything other than Philadelphia Cream Cheese because I know exactly how it will react, how it will mix up and how delicious it's going to taste. Besides the flavor and the quality I love the packaging. I enjoy opening up the brick of cream cheese. I like the heavy duty foil wrap and how it peels open so easily and that I can fold it back together and fold up the end and it's all sealed again then I put it back in the box until I'm ready to use the rest of it. Yes, Cheesecake is my favorite thing to make with this but More commonly I mix half a package with a can of chili and heat up then eat with corn chips. Man I love that stuff. It's great at parties you can put it one of those little crock pots to keep it hot but to be honest I mostly eat it as a meal when I feel like I need a special treat. Yes of course this is great on bagels or toast especially with some strawberry jam. As far as I'm concerned there is no other cream cheese. I always have at least 1 package of this in my fridge, it's a staple.
