TOOTHPASTE DIRECTIONS: To introduce your cat to the toothpaste, apply a small amount onto your finger and allow cat to taste. Next, apply a small amount onto the Petrodex® Advanced Dental Care toothbrush or finger toothbrush. Then, gently pull the lips and cheeks up. Begin brushing with short, back-and-forth strokes at the gum line. Brush only a few teeth the first time. Give a lot of praise during this process. Avoid using human toothpaste on your pet.

I decided to try enzyme toothpaste for our cats, since it's something recommended by vets and vet assistant to improve their health. My cats won't let me brush their teeth, however they will eat this toothpaste, so I do consider it a good investment. It's made their breath fresh smelling--I didn't even realize their breath had an odor until I started giving them the toothpaste. It's amazing, and I can't believe I hadn't thought of doing this before.
