Petlas Velox Sport PT741 UHP Summer 205/50R16 91W XL Passenger Tire

The Petlas tires look very rugged. I do a significant amount of my driving on back roads here in Appalachia. The roads also are rugged and twisting. The Petlas tires stick like glue on the turns. They are almost silent which I love because my car is silent. You can buy tires made by Turks in Turkey or you can buy tires made in Europe by Turks.

Tread-wear: 320 Temp Rating: AA / A Max PSI: 49 *all numbers taken from sidewall of the tire. - the site description is not accurate on these. The tires are very quiet and comfortable. The feel a bit soft compared to other well known brands and that's a tradeoff of the quiet and comfortable ride - softer sidewalls. If you go on a spirited drive these don't provide the driver with the steering feel therefore not providing too much confidence at the limit. What I can say is that they are grippy and they are very good in the wet and no hydroplaning/ aquaplaning. Braking feel again suffers from the soft sidewall, but they are not the shortest stopping tires I've had. I am comparing these with sets of Falken, Conti, Pirelly, Khumo, General, Dunlop and Michelin I've tried in this size. Good job Petlas, don't think you can find a more comfortable tire for the money. Did you know they make the tires for the F35 fighter jets? They should work on your car too.
