It works! Just know how to use!

Some people don't know how this stuff works, and when they dont use it properly- it of course wont work. Do not be fooled, because it does! So the main things to know are make sure it is snug on the animal. If it's too loose, it won't work. It doesnt need to be tight- but for cats especially it needs to be snug!! One major thing, which is kind of a safety feature- is that it will not just shock your animal right away. It gives a beep before it does send a shock. So if your cat runs super fast past it, in and out of the barrier set- it at the most will send a beep and not a shock depending how fast your cat is. So if youre trying to block off a large area, and your cat bolts past it- this device will not "work". Its intended to be ethical and give the animal a chance to back off - aka the beep. So, it works! You just need to know how to use it correctly!

Cat is safe, I don't worry

We live on a busy street and our kitty is an escape artist. We need to leave the dog door open for the labs but the cat learned how to use it easily. She wears her collar during the day, we close the dog door at night and the collar comes off. She is 9 years old and still with us! Batteries in the collar get changed every 2 months peace of mind. This is our 3rd unit and we love it.

Impressed that its working on our cat

So far so good. Its for our mean cat who blocks and marks wi dies food and any litter box weve attempted to add for the other cat. We had to try something when a new rescue kitten arrived. After 15 years this only on when Im away plus adding feliway to several aroma diffusers has allowed him to be calm and happy and part of the family full time. It does go through walls and I accidentally scared him from the bathroom when he followed me in and I didnt realize the device was on the floor in the room behind us. Harmless, I keep it loose and remove it every day. But wickedly funny for the most frustrating cat in the world to get checked.
