That wall was a little different and we found a different one on Amazon that worked better after this order was already placed. Had the very first PetSafe door and loved it. Upgraded to the weather extreme due to the storms we get here in Owens Cross roads Al. So far all good. Don't be alarmed though if the hard winds still blow the flaps open. Just means it's time to close the door.... Maybe stronger magnets?

The Perfect Door
It installed like any other dog door. I have a single flap door on another door, and there is a huge difference in having two panels. Our pup finds it too heavy to go through the flaps and the insulated panel now, so we don't use it, and it seems to be enough, even with the car parked outside the panel our home isn't affected by the heat.
