Personal Alarm

I would like to give a review of this personal alarm, however, I can't, since there are no instructions in the box as to how to use it or what kind of batteries to use or how to put the batteries in. Contacting the seller was a waste of time as they were of no help. Will be doing a search on the internet to see if I can find some help there. Also, the item was just put in a regular envelope with no padding and so the item arrived pretty banged up. Who knows if it will work once I figure out how to use it. If I can, I will update the product part of the review after I have tried it out. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT BUY from this marketplace seller. I'm not the only customer who is very unhappy. Do an internet search on the company and you'll see why there are so many negative reviews of this company.

I train safety and self-defense and this product is perfect. It is loud and very effective. I am giving this a bad review ONLY because I received one that was defective and I can't get a response from the seller, ecopusa, to do a return. I have probably purchased 40 of these or so over the past year and plan to increase my purchase rate. I purchase this product because of the LED light and the loudness. A TIP: DO NOT USE the belt clip. This is not something that should be attached to you. Loop the lanyard around a purse handle, backpack or belt loop. The best way to use this product is to remove the pin by yanking on the alarm and throwing it as far away as possible. Why? First...you will force the attacker to pause and choose one of the following option...hurry up with the assault, attempt to shut up the alarm, or run away. That pause is just enough for you to get the advantage to use your self-defense training if necessary. Please remember...if you see something, say something. And if you hear someone in possible distress, keep a safe distance and call for help.
