The Right Stuff Gasket Maker Tube - Black - 3oz The Right Stuff 90 Minute is the only gasket maker in a tube that can return a vehicle back to service quickly just 90 minutes curing time! It outperforms pre-cut gaskets by providing superior adhesion to flanges with maximum flexibility. A premium professional grade gasket maker for today's fast-paced professional garage and heavy Diyer. Temperature range -65F to 500F Intermittent. Compared to Permatex the Right Stuff grey Gasket Maker, our black formula offers higher oil resistance and greater flexibility. Directions: Clean and dry parts. Cut nozzle and apply a continuous 1/16 to 14 (2 to 6mm) bead of silicone to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble parts immediately while silicone is still wet. Finger tighten until material begins to squeeze out around flange. Let dry for one hour then tighten to torque specifications. Allow 90 minutes to cure before filling with fluids of returning to service. Replace cap after use. NOTE: Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.

Got this to finish up a timing chain job so I could seal the gasket as manual instructed to do. Even filled in a missing part of the oil pan gasket with this stuff and may have layed it on a little thin but once everything was pressed together it held. Timing is better and after one hour for the stuff to get tacky then 90 minutes later for it to set (compared to 24 hrs) I was able to add oil and coolant and had zero leaks. Product works as it should and does so quickly.
