I tried these several times but had to change to a more sturdy brand to keep out the squirrels. I love the price, ease of filling and the birds liked them too, but unfortunately so did the squirrels, and they would constantly knock them from the tree and chew on the plastic and break off the perches trying to get the food. I recommend it if you're on a budget. Although they weren't the right fit for me, but I really liked them. It was the squirrel problem.

The tube feeder is almost too small, even for chickadees plus the covers for the thistle seed keep falling down when using regular bird seed cutting off access to the seed, but it was cheap so you get what you pay for.

Perches won't stay in place, and it spills badly
Very disappointed in these. I expected small and inexpensive. I didn't expect fold-up perches tat wouldn't stay unfolded or the ridiculous leakage. It spilled seed in the slightest breeze. Surely the fixed perches that are always used would cost less to make than these, and actuslly work? Looks like they went out of their way to make it flimsy and unusable so you will buy a more expensive one. I did, but from another company. Kingsyard has 2 tall ones for $20. Get them before the deal goes away.
