I absolutely Love this feeder, and bought 3 more. I've never been able to see the beautiful Hummingbirds around my house before, and am so thankful that I can now. I appreciate the sturdiness of this feeder, and the thoughtfulness that went into making those yellow cages to keep the bees/wasps out. I also really appreciate that the body is made of glass, and that the entire feeder comes apart. I use pipe cleaners to thoroughly clean it. I made the 'nectar' myself with 1/4 cup of pure cane white sugar %26 1 cup of water, %26 had to refill %26 clean the feeder every 3 days. The only insects that got in next to the yellow 'bee cages' were pincher bugs/earwigs. The hook is very small, so it was hard to hang, so I bought a big ring with a hook, and hung it from the bottom of the ring.

Good volume - lasts about a week per fill. Plastic will sun-damage and degrade after a year or two requiring replacement. Item disassembles easily and completely for cleaning but you will need to get into the jar with a sponge and a fork or something to scrub the inside--bottle brush won't work well.
