This simple device really works. After I watched a squirrel devour some expensive bird feed, I thought I'd try one of these. The next day I watched as the squirrel gave up, even trying to remove the lid. Liked it so much, I thought I'd buy another. I couldn't find another in three different Walmarts, so I had to use store pickup. Out of the box, it didn't work properly. After some investigating, I found some of the wires were bent from shipping. After fixing them, the feeder works fine, and we now have an unhappy squirrel family on our hands.
