Good but....

Great value. The plastic seems heavy enough to last a good while. The "T" shaped perches are nice and they seem solid enough. I Like the fact that the top screws on. There are a lot of things to like about this feeder. My only problem is that the birds wont go near it. I filled it with a Premium Finch blend which is Thistle and chopped sunflower hearts. I am wondering if the feeder holes are too small. I am stumped. I could either drill the holes bigger or replace the mix with just pure Thistle seed which is tiny enough to get through the feeder holes.

Unnecessarily complicated. Too much volume. The birds eat so much Niger seed that they can't fly anf more.
