I have been looking for this product (or similar) for a while. I had used a similar product years ago and it worked well. This mixture is thick which is good for coverage of the rusted spokes on the dishwasher racks. Hope it doesn't wear away too quickly. The mixture does a strong odor while applying.

Dishwasher Saving Paint

Fresh bottle of this great paint can save old dishwasher. My Whirlpool dishwasher is 35 years old, runs well %26 cleans dishes quickly even on light wash setting. Its vinyl coated steel rack gets worn through by heavy dinner plates. The steel rusts %26 corrodes. I've used this ReRACK paint twice before with good results but it was hard to find a fresh bottle. This time I let the corrosion go too long. Luckily Walmart has vendors selling ReRack. Hard to find since newer dishwashers have stainless steel racks %26 don't need paint. Because of deep corrosion I scrubbed areas with stiff steel %26 brass brushes. Wiped down with alcohol %26 painted 1st with Rustoleum rusty metal primer then painted with 3 coats of ReRack. Easy because of quick drying time. Shake bottle frequently.
