Bristles are too soft and the brush is very small. It is very gentle, so might work for some people, but not for me. It can't add volume to my hair because bristles are too soft and the circumference is too small. I can only use it to smooth my hair down a little. Not sure if buying it in a larger size would be any better because of the bristles.
