Vinyl strip attachment on the back of each section
I just received my 48" x 13" glass hinged top for a 55 gal rectangular tank. It is 2 sections with a vinyl strip attachment for the rear of each section. However, I haven't been able to figure out exactly how to easily attach each vinyl strip. There is a notched slot which appears that it should slide onto each glass pane; but, this has not been so easy to manage. Any experience/guidance on how I can get these attached correctly?

Could be a little bit bigger all the way around to make a tighter fit. Plastic hard to get on but it will go on if you carefully use a rubber mallet to tap onto the edge of the glass
