Dutch band VanderLinde has been founded about 7 years ago by singer, songwriter, bass player, and guitarist Arjan van der Linde. Until now they released 3 albums: Fertility (2006), VanderLism ( 2008), Wind & Rain (2011). The last one received outstanding reviews in the Dutch and German media. 'Wind & Rain' got tons of airplay on many Dutch and German radio-stations, like NDR2, SWR1 and SWR3 - just to mention a few. Video-clips for the single-releases 'The Difference' and ' Can?t Wait For Yesterday' were in heavy rotation on several TV stations in Germany and The Netherlands. To promote the album, the band did a club tour in Germany in June 2011, headlining or sharing the stage with Doc Holiday (USA). Early 2012, Vanderlinde crossed the Atlantic ocean again to record their 4th album in the USA with producer Erwin Musper (Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Van Halen) in his Studio The Bamboo Room. The band recorded ' Perfect Sadness'. The new single 'Little Things' - from this brand new album - will soon get exposure in a pilot for a new American reality show. It took Arjan about three months to write the songs for ' Perfect Sadness'. Lyrically they turned out to be quite autobiographical and introspective. The album's music style is intimate and organic but there are some surprising twists. To give it a reference: it is a mixture of pop and rock in the vein of Crowded House and Jason Mraz. Accompanied by a bunch of ace musicians, Arjan Van Der Linde will hit the stage to promote his new album this year.
