Closed my eyes, took a sip and it carried me back 70 yrs to the downtown Miami Royal Castle's frosty mug and 2 $.15 hamburgers (slider size in modern parlance). The owner must have been a PA Dutch transplant. Exquisite and unique taste, that classic birch bark beer. It came on the scene even before Budweiser beer. As early teens we were cool dudes sipping those non-alcoholic suds (well, suds only during the pour). ;>)
