Feeding Instruction:Place bird seed into feeder and hang feeder approximately five feet above ground.Storage Instructions:Reseal package and store in a cool, dry place. This will help protect against insect infestation that can naturally occur with any whole grain seed product.Store in a cool, dry place (Not for human consumption).Create a wild bird paradise.Provide water sources- A simple birdbath will draw birds like a magnet. Make sure the water is clean and filled frequently.Provide shelter and cover- Trees and shrubs are ideal nesting and foraging sites for birds. Nest boxes and bird houses provide additional shelter.Provide Food Sources - Place bird feeders with Pennington® wild bird seed near larger trees and shrubs for more bird visits. If the feeder is close to your house, place it within three feet of the window or home to reduce the likelihood and severity of collisions. Trees and plants that flower and fruit also provide food to birds, as will the insects that naturally visit every garden.Store in a cool, dry place.

Have bought this brand for over a decade. Since moving south learned can't keep in the garage due to extreme heat. Doesn't everyone have a small metal trash can tucked in their kitchen? Cats use it to access window ledge above it. Otherwise the bugs that germinate when I had it in the garage was overwhelming. Bonus is wherever I have feeders each spring I get Sunflowers, also the variety seed makes a ton of weeds %26 attracts unwanted varmints!
