This feeder is easy to fill and easy to clean with a wide seed chamber opening. It includes a chew proof cable and it keeps seed fresh with drainage holes at each port opening. The Pennington Earth Smart Locking Top Wild Bird Feeder is designed to feed both small and large birds. Attracts favorites like Chickadees, Cardinals, Goldfinches and more! Compared to other bird feeders this one is of excellent quality for the price. I like the fact that it holds 6 pounds of seed. I have had more birds hanging around this feeder than any other I have had. It is not unusual for have 15-20 birds at one time. Will definitely be buying another.

My favorite bird feeder for years !
I have five of these bird houses in my back yard. They are easy to load a large amount of sunflower seeds into them and they last about one week long before I have to load them again. Squirrels do get to them and chew through the bottom holes to make them larger to get at the seed easier, but that doesn't bother me. Everyone needs to eat. The price point is so good that I just purchase new ones when they start to get a little worn out. Please NEVER discountinue these birdfeeders because I am very OCD and I want all my bird feeders to match in the back yard.
