Awesome reel
I bought two Penn Battle 2’ 6000 reels a few days ago. I pared them with a 10 foot Penn Carnage spinning surf rod and the 11 foot spinning Battalion surf rod. I used 30lbs Trilene mono .They were a real treat. My son and I put them to the test over the weekend while fishing the coastal waters in Sargent Texas. I would highly recommend Penn products to anyone. I have not been disappointed. I only use penn.

Definitely top quality reel for the money
My name is Captain Leroy Bennett I fish between 150 and 250 days a year. I only use pen battles on my boat. I have clients that are very rough on my equipment at times but the battles keep on going. All I can say is try some battles they have the HT 100 drag system which is top notch.
