Pen+Gear Medium Weight Paper Sketch Pad, Holiday Gift, 9 in x 12 in, 50 Sheets

This sketch pad is much better than anticipated. My granddaughter and I were using a smooth shiny paper for drawing, so to get this sketch pad makes a world of difference for us. The paper itself is medium weight, so it holds up well without tearing. The color is kind of off white, so perfect for the kind of drawings we are doing. We use regular number 2 pencils normally, but I also have some drawing pencils that I used and the texture really suits my 6B pencil well. Also, when I erase with a red eraser the lead comes off easy enough, but next time I would use a white eraser instead as it seems to work better. For the most part, it's a really good quality sketch pad for what we use it for.

I like this sketch pad and am very pleased with the quality. Great paper . It took me a little bit to write my review as I gave this to my grandkids . They absolutely loved it! It works real well, the paper is perfect for his pencils and water color pencils. Nice sheets and not wimpy at all. Overall I love to draw and I likes the sketch pad as well . Nice size, but make sure you want a smooth pad . Not for charcoal drawings. Great for pencil , pens and makers. If you or your grandkids or kids like to draw , this is the best sketch pad . I highly recommend it .
