This idea is very convenient. Especially for a person who regularly has to go back to her car (whatever the weather conditions) to retrieve a forgotten mask!!! The package contains 4 lanyards, The lanyard is 40" long which results in a comfortable 20" drop. I thought the metal clips that connect each ear loop to the lanyard might end up being unwieldy or uncomfortable but the metal clips spin so they're always in the right place. I really like this item.

The product is the lanyard as you can see it fits well behind you ear on the ear loops, with your hair down you can hardly see it. The only drawback is it hangs almost to your waist when you take your mask down. Other than than it's perfect, I recommend this product.
