My cat loves her “box seat”

"I have an 8-year-old cat (11 pounds) who is constantly looking for ways to climb all the things. We had an old shelf in our living room we installed for her but she wasn't into it, so we bought this product instead. We placed it too low to also add the posts, but our cat has now figured out how to hop on the chair and jump into what we're calling her “box seat” in the living room when we watch TV. It was so much fun watching her figuring out how to get up there and seeing her instantly settle down once she's up. Installation was a bit tricky as other reviewers have mentioned, but we were eventually able to get everything inside the walls the way they needed to be. I plan to buy another set for our basement and wish they had a larger range of products because I'd buy them all!"

The dream

My cat loves the hammock!!!! She's typically skiddish with any sudden movement and sound, so I was scared that the hammock would have too much slack, but yall it finally happened!!!!! She loves it!!!! The hammock is wide, sturdy, and long for my cat!

Difficult to mount, but amazing once it's done!

As others have mentioned, this wall-mounted cat tree is a total pain to mount because of the detailed measurements that are required. What's more, you should definitely replace the provided screws with sturdier ones, as I also had some break in the wall studs. Some complained about the sturdiness of the hammock, so I opted to mount a perch leg almost at the same level as the hammock, so my cat wouldn't over-leverage one side of the hammock over the other. Basically, he can walk onto the hammock arms, rather than jump onto it. No issues so far with my ~9lb cat, and he still uses it every day! Love the design as well.
