After having an ugly storage tote as our litter box for about two years I was ready to hide the unslightly thing. I mean I have our bathroom space decorated nicely, why couldn't the cats look nice as well? The heavy box arrived on a Friday afternoon on which I surprisingly did not have plans. Usually I leave projects like this to my husband because…well he's gifted in the area of construction and I am not. But I decided that day that if I can run my own business and be in school studying law I must have a good brain in there and so I was determined to figure this out and put it together myself! After about an hour and a half (add in extra time because I'm not a smooth operator of a drill) I had a functional and correctly put together litter box cabinet.

This litter box cover/bench is quite sturdy, looks good and easy to assemble. It does exactly what we wanted it to do, it hides the litter box from sight and does a good job containing smell. I understand that some may have issues putting it together, but if you can read simple instructions and match (parts that are well labeled with removable stickers -- unlike stuff from IKEA, with screws and connectors in well labeled bags -- unlike IKEA) with a diagram you shouldn't had any problem putting this cabinet together. Having four cats, we needed another one for a second litter box downstairs and we were happy to purchase another one and the quality was exactly the same. The packaging was well done (all pieces fit into a sold dense flat box which is very difficult to damage accidentally because of the way the pieces fit together). If we need another one I would not have any issue buying another one. This was money well spent.
