I don't know why taste is an option for these suppositories as I definitely didn't stick these in anybody's mouth. But I have a three year-old with constipation issues. She's growing out of that now, but these were incredibly helpful with easing her issues. Within five minutes of use, she would need to use the bathroom. And it mitigated some of the pain issues from compaction and large stool size.
