Good buy!

Had to replace an old unit to keep my basrment dry during humid Midwest summer. Surprised at the small size and a little disappointed in the small capacity of the collection bin (my fault). However I've had it two weeks and it run well, and seems to keep the basement dryer than the larger unit and in less time. So I am pleased and would recommend . Also I could attach a hose to run collection in a bucket or directly into subpump, but haven't done that yet.

Quiet

After much research and vacillating between all the "Top Rated" dehumidifiers, I chose this one for it kept coming back as one of the top. I priced it out several stores and Home Depot had it a few dollars cheaper, but a 5-7 day delivery. Walmart had a three day delivery so I went with them. It is for my basement and the size is 20x20= about 400 square feet. This unit is recommended for up to 1500. Make sure you do not over size your area. Match the total square feet you have with the unit your going to purchase. That is very important! I have it for one week and it is quiet compared to my Solas unit that I am replacing. It pulls about two containers of water out of the room in a 24 hour period and its only April. So I attached the hose option and have it draining into a bucket so I don't have to keep pulling the container in and out. See pics. Very satisfied with the unit and would recommend. Also the easy check out and quick delivery from Walmart!
