I cannot speak to the 'taste' or 'aftertaste' of the Parent's Choice Distilled Water, 1 Gallon. I purchased it to use in my Shark Steam Mop and my Rowenta iron. Previously, I purchased the Great Value 1-gallon distilled water and the container was just too difficult to pour until it was halfway empty. This container is a lot easier to use.
