This is good stuff. I use it on my straight hair and it makes it shiny and smooth. My daughter, which is mixed raced and has course hair, she uses it on her tight curly hair. It seperates and defines her curls. Also help with er frizz. Another plus is u only have to use little bit at a time. So the 2.0 fl. oz. last a long time
