Panacea Raised Garden Bed Corner Brackets 4-Pack

Well made, metal heavy enough and came with screws. I haven't completed my project yet but will be using to build garden bed about 6' by 6' , 8" high. I am using pine 1" thick. Enjoy your project, Happy growing! P.S. there will be enough metal to push into the ground to stabilize.

Three stars

These are of decent quality, and I can make them work for my project, but not exactly as I had planned. Here's what you need to know. First, the dimensions are 12" x 4.5", not 14" x 5". Secondly, they are photographed upside-down here. If they were right- side- up, or turned to show the inside angle, you would see that there is a wrap-around flange that wraps over a piece of nominal 2" lumber (actual 1.5"). Since I'm building a 2-tier bed, I had hoped to position these so that half the bracket would be on the lower tier and half on the upper. The flange makes that impossible, and I have to revise my plans. The manufacturer supplies 16 black screws, 1.25 inches long. That's 4 screws for each bracket. Since each bracket has 16 holes, you can achieve greater strength by adding as many of your own screws or nails as you choose. These probably deserve 5 stars, but I'm penalizing them for the seller's very inadequate description.
