At first it was too rich for my fine wavy medium weight hair. Loved how it made my hair feel and the scent was amazing, but it left my hair weighed down and flat. BUT WAIT! I found that by diluting the amount I need in water and then pouring it on my head and massaging it gently into my hair and scalp, it leaves my hair nicer than any shampoo or conditioner I've found.
I do the same with the conditioner. The scent is a gorgeous lingering coconut heaven. I also follow up with a leave-in rinse consisting of a cap of Bragg's ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) in one cup of COLD spring water. There's no vinegar smell with such a minute amount, just incredible shine, and the coconut scent prevails.
I've been doing this for well over a year, now. I had been experiencing a devastating amount of hair shedding, along with painful scalp breakouts, which led to purchasing a frustrating amount of failed products. Since using the diluted Palmer's Boost Shampoo %26 Conditioning duo, my hair shed and breakouts have stopped, completely.
My hair has returned, it's healthy, isn't weighted down, and is completely manageable with a nice sheen. I now only need to wash my hair every 3-5 days using this Palmer's duo. It's shoulder length and living in central Texas I wear it loosely piled on top of my head, mostly, but if I want to wear it down, I just wash it every other day.
I'd like to add, that if you're looking for a little extra bounce and don't want to use heavy styling products, a blower, or heat styling, I also highly recommend Suave's Air Dry Cream for anyone with fine, wavy, medium weight hair, like mine. Wish Palmer's would come out with an air dry cream for waves and curls in the Boost product line.
