Stone is dark but that's what you're buying..

If you want something that's going to be very red buy a ruby the stone is almost black and if you get the light to shine just right you see a very dark red but it's not going to be a very sparkly red just because of how dark the stone is but that's garnet that's what you're paying for and it's a very beautiful stone that is polished and shiny the gold plating is beautiful too and I like the design upon the sides disappointed it wasn't a ruby red honestly but that's not the fault of the company or product very beautiful garnet ring.
